Some cats get all up your face about what they do and how they do it. They only use this piece of blah and that piece of blah-di-blah. That’s wonderful for those that care.
But for those of us that are essentially about what is substance and realness, then an extraordinary musician returning to the crazy fray of music makes us sit up and notice.
Actually just the term musician, probably doesn’t do Mr Mingo enough justice. Alberto Mingo certainly isn’t new to this, but his ideas and out the box productions and collaborations always are.
Did I mention that he’s a supreme percusssionist…yes i just did.
