I like many millions across the globe, grew up listening to Michael Jackson.
I can’t quite put my finger on the one main appeal of this extraordinarily talented person.
Was it the dancing, the singing, the looks?
It was all!
From a little man to a grown boy, Michael had it all.
One of my first records was a 7″ track by The Jacksons called  ‘Blame it on the Boogie’
By the time I saw the state of the art (back then) Earth, Wind and Fire style video, I was Michael.
I had my afro, flares and tank top, man I was good to go!
Bopping, moving, grooving and spinning into the coffee table and blaming it all on the boogie.
The mind is a wonderful thing, a path to escapism, to imagining anything and achieving all.
In my mind, I was Michael.
We all were.
From fathers to sons, from mothers to daughters, there was something more that this gentle soul was sharing with the world.
More than the music, more than the dancing, more than the eccentricities ; Michael was sharing love.
Whilst we remember everything that he was and is, let us remember his message of love.
In the strangest of ways, we all wanted to be just like Mike and he wanted to be just like us.
Love will keep us together.
Rest in infinite peace, Michael.
Peace and blessings to the Jackson family and all fans and well-wishers.
